Knik Glacier Tour.  You’ll experience the magnificent glacier by land and by sea with non-stop photo opportunities.  The tour begins with a 30-minute ride in a camouflage 4WD truck, crossing rivers as you approach the glacier.  Once at the water, board a comfortable aluminum boat for an up close and personal look at the glacier. 

Glacier island fun for all ages!

Mid-tour, the captain will make a stop on an island.  We highly recommend following the path to the point to get 360 views of the glacier and surrounding mountains.  As an additional treat, the tour includes time at “camp” where you are treated to hot cocoa, coffee, and snacks. 

The tour concludes with a return boat ride and truck ride back to the Knik Glacier Tour office.  The guides are knowledgeable and extremely friendly.  Located in Palmer, this is a quick and easy day trip from Anchorage. This is a once in a lifetime experience that you can’t miss!
